Winter Moths… their back…
You probably seen them already here's some info that was posted last week…
Adult winter moths will soon appear from mid-November until early January. Male moths can fly and have light-colored wings with black markings on the wing tips.
The female moths are generally darker in color than the male, have reduced wings and are flightless. The males are attracted to bright lights while the females mostly remain on the trunks of host plants.
There are no effective management options against the adult moth stage of this pest. About 43,000 forest acres were defoliated in 2015 with most of the damage caused by the winter moth…
